Help needed_different signature

Post by crappedout » Thu May 31, 2012 10:54 am

Well, this is kinda embarrassing to admit, but I signed on my visa application form without realizing that the signature on my passport was different. I signed with my full name in the passport but on the visa application, I signed with only my first name initialized and full surname.
I must establish here that my passport was issued 6 years ago when I was a minor. And that my driver's license has the same signature as my application (different from the signature in my passport).
Is this a reason for visa application rejection? If yes, then what options do I have left? If no, then why or how?

Would really appreciate ANY response

No it will not be rejected simply because your signatures are different.

It will be only rejected if the correct documents and evidence is not provided with the application

Thanks for your reply. That does put me at ease.

But what about signing upon entering the UK? Won't that be problematic?
