Spouse visa

Hi just a couple of questions regarding a spouse visa... I have applied for a spouse visa for my Hubby but only thing I'm worried about is I only sent 2 bank statements due to rumours going round that immigration are thinking to change some requirements.... Does anyone now if immigration will accept it ?
And Does Immigration ring my work? If soo what do they ring to confirm ?

Why send only 2? Normally a minimum of 3 is required, preferably 6 months.
The ECO may well call your employer to check that you are actually working there.

hi yeh i sent 2 statements because there was all these news reports saying they will change some requirements... saying u have to be earning 26k anually to apply for a spouse... so i was advertised to giv it in asap but in my 2 statements i had a good bank balance... i just hope it dosent go to appeal xx
