Sami3 ,you are right,I have applied on 24th December 2013 and received a letter on 25th June that some documents missing related to income threshold and they holding my application until the decision against income threshold is decided or they have given me 3 weeks time to provide the related documents if I wants to get the decision done. I have sent the documents and they received it today via DHL, any idea how long do they normally take once they receive the additional documents ? @Zamzam I think same case goes with yours application ,they may be holding it due to threshold or English.

Walaykum Asalam

Some very interesting information.
We applied on the 17th Jan 2014.
We were called for an interview yesterday. The interview lasted just a few mins and it was mainly just to check his spoken english. We were granted our visa right away.
However, our english test was taken through NTS and not ETS.
We clearly met the income threshold as I earn above 18,600.
Our application still took a long time even though we dont fall into any of the criteria you mentioned above, income threshold and ETS test.

Best of luck with your application, I pray you here some positive news very soon In Shaa Allah[/quote]

Congrats :) Btw where did you apply? i wish they invite my wife for an interview. she would definitely pass it. but no news as yet :( We applied at Islamabad office.

Congratulations to everyone who got there visa's today :)

Can i request all of you that if you know any family or friends who are given interviews, could you ask them also whether there application was on hold or not.

My husband application remains on hold and just wondering whether applicants on hold are getting interviewed or not. My husband does meet the income threshold, but i think were on hold because we dont meet the evidential requirement for the income threshold.

My husband application remains on hold and just wondering whether oes meet the income threshold, but i think were on hold because we dont meet the evidential requirement for the income threshold.

It seems to me that it is only those who meet the financial requirement, havent heard of anyone who was on hold being called for an interview.

It looks as though they are confirming that the english test applicants provided are genuine or not by testing their spoken english.

No luck for people on hold as of yet !
Applied online 15/9/15
Biometrics mirpur 17/9/15
Documents confirmation November
