I remember the night before my missus went to pick up the visa. I couldn't get to sleep. it was impossible, stomach churning. Anyway all was cool in the morning. I got to work and the missus text me at 10 amto say 'I got it - please call me'. Unfortunately I was busy at work and couldnt call until 5 pm. I got a ear bashing for that one. So please folks when your spouses go to collect visas make sure toc all when they ask you to. :P

So after recieving the visa what is the next steps, can someone correct me if im wrong?

1- You take passport to travel booking agency and book flight (anytime within 3 months of visa being granted).

2- When your spouse travels to airport he/she should take all documentation and her TB test results (is that the chest Xray?) and what if this out of date, as I 've heard it expires after 6 months?

3 - Do we need to do communicate with the embassy or Gerrys any further??

PS - I have done dua for everyone here. I really believe in Dua's.

Can someone going to gerry's after recieving RFC's ask the people in the que when they applied for their settlement visas ?

or is it not possible because there will be different applicants with different categories of visas ?

In this case we would know if any june applicants are recieving their visas from Isb

Thanks

1. Correct.

2. TB test should be valid, but if it isn't no problem, provided she takes a copy of her invalid one, they'll let her pass. There simply isn't enough time nor are there enough resources to keep running medical tests when the passengers arrive in the UK.

3. No you don't, you're free of them.

It would mean 'oh causer of all things'. A better way to write it would be 'Ya Musabbibal asbaab'. Although the alif and laam are joined to asbaab, it is easier to read for the one who doesn't know arabic. Also it has two b's, as the 'baa' in arabic whould have a tashdeed on it.

Sorry for getting a bit too technical.

Visa granted MashAllah. I have listened to king's advice and wife will be coming to UK next week. Also will be getting the TB test done again for safe measures. InshAllah the rest who are waiting will get their decisions soon as granted.

Thanks. Yes near enough 24 weeks, I think that is the norm at this moment. Really over the moon, inshAllah the rest will get their visas granted swiftly.

Yeah that is true, but I am hearing of those who applied in June and getting their visas around the 20 week mark, obviously they can only speed up now. :) Did you just sit tight and wait? or did you mail the bhc/ mp?
