Salam Guys

My wife had a call yesterday from gerry office advising your passport is back and due for collection. They asked her to collect it today.

She went this morning and she has been given her visa.

InshAllah everyone else will soon also hear good news

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We would like to apologise for the delay in responding to you. We
understand that you have been waiting and would like to know about the
current status of your case. I have received a response regarding your
escalated case and found that your application status states:

"You initial pre-assessment has now been completed and your application is
with the Entry Clearance Officer awaiting further checks and enquiries.
Once these checks are completed, your application will be processed and a
final decision will be made."

Your patience in this regard is highly appreciated, until this matter is
resolved.

Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer (ECO) will
contact you once your application is fully assessed and a decision has been
made or, if necessary, during the consideration of your application.

Please note: The visa applications are processed and decided by the British
High Commission. Neither our department, nor any of our staff, play any
part or influence the outcome of the visa application.
I have a feeling this is a standard email but its a bit different to the one i received before .
I applied in September and recently emailed asking for an update. What concerned me was they told me that my 9 digit GFW number was incorrect and I needed to recheck. I have asked them to escalate the case to ensure that my documents have been received. Can anyone tell me how long they take in responding to an escalated case? Thanks

Thanks networkers, I am already aware of those places but according to my younger brother most of those places don't do city and guilds and some even don't exist anymore.

As anyone done city&guild A1 spouse test recently from Karachi?
May Allah swt make it easy for us all
