If you are a Pakistani citizen then you need to register your marriage in Pakistan before applying.

@If the marriage is registered with a Register Office in the UK then it is legally valid and recognised.
However I'm assuming you were not on a marriage visa when you got married in the UK, which may an issue when applying for a spouse visa. you will need to be clear on the details of your marriage when applying, otherwise it may be classed as "frustating the rules".

It looks like applicants from Lahore are getting a much quicker turnaround. Whereas other VAC especially Mirpur are far behind

Hey Kehkashan

I find it a bit weird that you are still waiting 9 months later especially if they are processing applications after yourself. My cousin works as an ECO in Dubai for the visit visas and she advised that in some situations files are misplaced and left until someone chases it up

I am not sure how many times you have been chasing your application but you should stay on top of it as that could be the case with yourself. InshAllah I hope it isnt but no harm in making sure

1st Application: 2nd Febuary
October (something): Refused as latest wage slip outside 28 days requirement
Documents re- submitted in Mirpur on 07/11/14
2 Visa Processed Emailed received today- 27/01/14
Waiting for RFC call...

Hi guys, I have a quick question I didn't have to do a property inspection report, as I have my own property with no one else living in it.

But my cousin was asking does anyone know whether it would be OK for estate agent to do a property inspection report? Is there anyone else authorised to do it?

I know councils can do reports but they are giving long waiting times.

Your response will be appreciated. thx
