How long ago did you get the message from the visa people saying its "with ECO"?
Did you get an earlier email saying "initial assessments are completed, and will be given to the ECO"
Congrats to you, regarding your question read prayforus's message on page736zee09 wrote:for those who have recently arrived in the uk from pakistan, can you please confirm if the checked polio and tb test?

Hi Ayesha,ayesha.bukhari1 wrote:Hi I am new here I am currently working so that I can call my husband over. I have two months of bank statements right now. I was wondering whether it is a refusal if I changed my job right now so two months bank statements would show a different job and the 4 months bank statement would show a different one. Does this matter as long as you are getting the money in every month?
You need to send the following in email to escalate and get a sensible response.b41 wrote:How does one go about escalating a case? I emailed them under the status and asked if the initial assessment was done. They just reply with the same message.
'We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF** and date of birth*) and found that there are no current updates.'
The last 3 status checks have been that exact message.
Thanks for that networkers. Do you have the email address that this needs to be sent to?networkers wrote:You need to send the following in email to escalate and get a sensible response.b41 wrote:How does one go about escalating a case? I had two jobs and a business when applying, but I only applied with one job... and with that job, 3 months into the payslips, I had been promoted. I still carried on as both were at the same company and the pay was +20k either way.rajasohaibmaroof wrote:I applied for my visa in September. At that time my spouse (the sponser) was earning £37k+ recently my spouse has been promoted and earns £40k+ will this be an issue if the ECO contacts the company for verification of her employment and role? Would they potentially ask for more payslips?
See my previous post.ab112 wrote:I need advice on accommodation requirement asap please.
I am looking to rent a double room in a shared accommodation soon. The landlord is happy for a couple (me and my partner to live there). Someone else is living there in the living room so there is no living room at the flat. I will rent the double room which is decent size. This will definitely be a HMO (houses with multiple occupants).
Does anyone know if this meets the accommodation requirement of UKVI? Their website is not clear about HMO.
I will get a housing inspection report. I've spoken to a few solicitors and they say the only thing that will be taken into account is the size of the room and how many ppl will live in the room only so I should be fine. BUT I spoke to the council and they said that flat will be over-crowded (although the officer did admit he didnt have much experience with housing inspections for immigration purposes). I get the feeling that it is up to council at the end of the day to decide. I spoke with a chartered surveryors firm as well and they say it is OK and wont be over-crowded. I'm hearing different things.
Does anyone have experience of submitting tenancy agreement for a double room only in a shared accommodation that is a HMO as part of their visa requirements? Any advice on that?
Any advice will be much appreciated. I will need it asap please.
A one-bed flat is very expensive to rent in London so if possible I dont want to rent a one-bed flat only to live there for 6 months on my own while visa is processed!
