Some applicants do receive random calls asking random questions about your marriage. My wife didn't receive any call or nor did she need to give an interview.gucci9 wrote:Hi all hope all is well......

City & Guilds is not renewing its license with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to be a Secure English Language Test provider. This will come into effect on 6 April 2015. Any certificates issued for International ESOL (IESOL) and Spoken ESOL (ISESOL) examinations held before or on 5 April 2015 can be used for UK visa applications until 5 November 2015. Any IESOL and ISESOL certificates issued for examinations held on or after 6 April 2015 will not be accepted as part of the visa application process.
I think in other words if you do your test till april you should be fine (If you pass).
After April I am unsure what test needs to be done.
This is from the internet On the certificates website.
Do correct me if im wrong.
Hope this helps and Iv been helpful to someone

Really annoyed with this as it was refused through no fault of mine but because of HMRC's crappy system and even when they accept it the ECM says not your fault but you should suffer.

What number did you call?? I submitted appeal in October, deadline is March 9th and I've heard nothing about review... How did you get an update?
I appealed on 10th October. Your deadline is 2nd April but you have a hearing date in mid March? How is that possible? I thought they send you the date a few weeks after your deadline if the review is not in your favour?phaara wrote:akhan47 wrote:Ibbzy wrote:Yes salmanyou are right, it was refused at the review stage which is sho king im just waiting for the bank to send me all the last 6 months statements, and i will reapply. Apparently, they also do checks with the local council + possible background checks on both spouses etc…
Hey at that time I didn't know, until after the refusal, we checked with hmrc and found out employer hadn't paid my tax, he was after the money, he did that to a few other ppl and some one even reported him lol ill expose him after this visa application lol there wasn't much we could do accept make him pay the tax, so he did eventually but even then he had me down as working for another company, he was an accountant so he could do that!Fari990 wrote:sophia20 wrote:Submitted my application today!

Hey sis
You know when your employer paid no tax what did you do ? Why did your employer not pay your tax ! Iv been reading these posts Alot of people are having issues with HMRC and Tax - before submitting your application its worth ringing HMRC and make sure your employer is paying your tax! Because they do check with HMRC so its better to get this issue resolved before.
My husbands done this test at the time they were saying its valid for life lolgucci9 wrote:Just been online and checked about the A1 English test and founs this...
