hi my wife applied for her visa on the 16th of march in mirpur she got a text the next day stating the documents had been sent of but i have not recvd a email? is this becuase she opted for sms service? and also how long will the process take?

Hey asifp. Glad to hear someone from Karachi is finally being contacted by the bhc. So I think they are working on January applications for Karachi. I applied 23rd Feb so probably have to wait a lot more. Please keep us updated when you get your passport. Prayers are with you. Good luck!

I was thinking the same i applied at isb on the 30th Jan but still ECO havent looked at my case yet

I would of thought it would be quicker to apply directly as mirpur/lahore all send there apps to isb

Dnt wori your visa is granted cuz the tym line from refusal and quick reply back after means your visa is done, thay dnt keep any visa on hold or any longer then needed when issued so its look all good for you, talking from experince . Applied same tym as your same place took 15 days to get settlement visa

Good to hear from Karachi people too! I was getting anxious about mine, I applied jan 14th. I think for us they're doing it closer to the 12 weeks. Good luck!!! Inshallah it's good news for all of us

Urgent help required, today I receive a email that my visa case has been delayed as further checks are being taken. How long is the process from here now? Anybody been or is in this situation?

Documented sumbitted in mirpur , 18/02/15
Delayed for further checks , 25/03/15

Roughly how long is the process from here now?

Will total fee be £3000 for 2 applications after increment and NHS charges? As i'll be applying alongwith my baby in august 2015 inshAllah. And can anyone guide will 2 sets of documents be required? Anyone applied with child? I need help.

If you are a British citizen yourself wouldnt your child be eligible for a right of abode or something along those lines, I might be wrong, hope someone with better knowledge can reply to you question. but have a look at this, fill it in for your child. https://www.gov.uk/check-british-citizen

Actually my husband became british after the birth of our daughter. Earlier he was on ILR. So we are confused we dont have exact info

Most people getting visas do get this text the next day. Not getting a good feeling now
