You have to pay both fees online when you are about to submit the online form VAF4A.

Fees which are £956 gbp for visa & £600 gbp for health surcharge

What else could they possibly be processing/checking?
Lol god knows!?! I don't know much about appeals but whats the "call letter"?

Hope everything works out for you too.
God knows how much wait there is.

Call letter is when they ask you to submit your passport to issue the visa.

Any updates on your application?

Probably HMRC to see that employment is still ongoing and that circumstances have not changed since the refusal.

The appeal only looks at the decision made at the time, if you no longer qualify, they can refuse again. My sister-in-law had to submit current payslips and bank statements to show that she still earned enough before the visa was granted after appeal.

Thanks for the response ALKB. Much appreciated. We still meet the requirements but it's almost like submitting a new application after winning the appeal. Infact it's taking longer than people who made a new application. I don't think there is anyone left who applied in January.

Any ideas how long it took for your sis-in-law from the time after appeal to the time she got a stamped passport?
Did she submit the payslips, etc herself or did they ask for them?

Thanks

I think BHC asked for her current Payslips and bank statements about 6 weeks after the appeal was allowed and then it took a few more weeks until they asked her husband to submit his passport. So, about two and a half months from appeal to call letter. Getting the visa issued took around two weeks then.

Since we now all have MP's again, maybe it's time to get yours involved?

As salaam alikum,

Congratulations to everyone who has got their visa.
I'm in the middle of getting all my papers together just wanted to ask if the original urdu nikka nama had to be stamped from union council as only my computerised marriage certificate is stamped. Also does the english translated one need to be stamped.
Any help will be appreciated
Jazak'Allah khair

Yes, they seem to be finishing of February now - this is very busy season it seems - some people on here got their visas in 1-2 months - those that applied in December etc

It seems like they are still on Feb - maybe a couple of March applications(have not seen anyone in March apps get any confirmation yet)
