Dear shahz86,
Its sad news. I think you have applied under new rules and they want at least 6 months pay slips right ?
The applications submitted before 9th July are exempted from the rule.

Waqass Shah

Sorry to hear the bad news
If you applied before 8th July 2012 then you would have required a minimum Salary slips for at least the previous 3 months before the application. The sponsor’s most recent P60 (in the absence of salary slips and if it is available).

I'm going to give you some advice which you may not like, but overall is better for you.
Do not re-apply, it will be another £800+ wasted unneccessairly. The best option for you is to have an oral/paper appeal. If you got refused on the one point alone, seriously it makes no sense whatsoever to re-apply. Yes appealing may take 6 months, but normal applications are taking 5/6 months anyway, so there's no real benefit to it.

That's a shame. It was down to one reason. You should appeal, no point reapplying maybe next time they will pick at something else. you might as well appeal because you just need to shown 6 month payslips. Time isn't an issue anymore because usual applications are taking as long. At least this way you will have piece of mind that you have submitted what they refused you on.

Guys can any body tell me that do you need new TB certificate to travel to UK ? My wifes TB certificate was valid at the time of the application but had now expired.
My wife is not willing to waste another day for TB certificate. She would rather have an X ray at the airport if immigration insists on it.
But was just confirming for the peace of mind.

The old ruling was 3 months of financial statements. I like many other provided 6 months of statements as a precautionary measure.
Ultimately if they want to refuse, they will. they shouldn't be refusing on such petty things, but unfortunately that's the way it's been of late.
