I haven't used this forum much so I don't know if I can send or receive any messages. I think it would be better to ask on this forum so that others can benefit or offer their opinions. Can we talk offline

To All That Have Had Rejections May Allah SWT Give You Sabr
I Whanted Too Ask one Thing The Longer Your Application Take Is It More Likely To Get Rejected?
As In My Case It Been 14Weeks
Thank You
Its all dependant on how quick checks come back which in some cases take abit longer and nowdays they seem to be lagging behind on applications which is another factor for them not meeting timescales
Hi no I'd rather stick with my appeal as it is a very minor issue I was litreally missing a bank statement so it would be better for me to do an appeal rather than submit a new case and be refused of another reason..this is a refusal of my 2nd application as the first one was the lawyer/my own fault..I don't mind the extra waiting time as long as it gets done...I've been waiting 2years 3months..an extra 3 won't make a difference to meadnan111 wrote:Probably better to make a new application and address their concerns as you will get a reply within 3 months. Appeals are time consuming and without any guarantee that you will succeed.
I am surprised that you got rejected the second time as well and just for a very minor issue. ECO should have exercised discretion unless it was a mandatory ground for refusal. Best of luck!stillwaiting123 wrote:Hi no I'd rather stick with my appeal as it is a very minor issue I was litreally missing a bank statement so it would be better for me to do an appeal rather than submit a new case and be refused of another reason..this is a refusal of my 2nd application as the first one was the lawyer/my own fault..I don't mind the extra waiting time as long as it gets done...I've been waiting 2years 3months..an extra 3 won't make a difference to meadnan111 wrote:Probably better to make a new application and address their concerns as you will get a reply within 3 months. Why do you need to declare savings unless you are earning less than £18,600?stillwaiting123 wrote:

I applied cat a and d...earning £13,000 with savings of £30,000..first application the lawyer never told me how many savings I needed exactly and I only had £27,500, so obviously result of refusal was lawyers fault and mine for not checking it out..but yeah they wanted to know we're the savings came from yet first time they didn't ask were they were from..so that's why I didn't want to re apply because I know one person on here has been refused 3 times all for different reasons...adnan111 wrote:Why do you need to declare savings unless you are earning less than £18,600?stillwaiting123 wrote:

You can get refused for the silliest of reasons. I met a guy that got refused because he didn't have receipts of the calling cards and didn't have any proof of making phone calls to his wife. I mean how many people get receipts when buying calling cards.
Get payslips and P60 for part time job. Get employer to pay money directly into your bank account and get a letter from employer stating that the job is permanent and not temporary.mutibali wrote:Guys I need help...what is the best way around my next application to make sure I don't get rejected??? Is all I need to do is get my part time employer to pay money that's on wage slip straight into my account?
Someone help please.

i have a few questions if thats ok
i live in the uk and i'm applying fora spouse visa for my husband. my lawyer has gotten all my documents together which i have.
he told me to get my husband to just apply at the centre but from what ive seen on this forum most people have applied online first. can you apply when you go for the appointment and where do you book the appointment? im soo confused right now as to whats supposed to be happening.
That's definitely an error lolbg1971 wrote:Salam all,
Just looking at the confirmation email after submitting my wife's online visa application,it says The cost of your application is : £7,080.00
Just wondering what does the cost means ?
Thanks

You have to apply online, pay the fee and only then you will be allowed to book an appointment to visit the centre. You will need to take with you a print out of the online application and also fill in the appendix 2. You will also need to pay IHS fee separately and take the confirmation of payment with you as without it the application will not be processed. The payment also has to be made online.sanahtalha wrote:Hi guys

The fee should be around £950 for visa application plus Health Surcharge.bg1971 wrote:Salam all,
