@sanahtalha

If you are under the section where it is specifically asking what relation is between sponsor and applicant then yes you would choose partner.

@tehmina

you can only track it through phone or email now. If you call them it will cost you like a £1 a min or something. However they will get back to you via email within 7 working days. From your timeline I see you submitted your application recently, I think it is very early for you to track it. I submitted my docs in April and I emailed them last month and they had no status update on my application indicating that they haven't even looked at my application yet.

However follow the following link to track your application:

I think children need a tb certificate as well, but under 11 they don't need chest X ray.

Dear wasnav,

My wife recently had her tb test done for RS. 7000 - approx. £44.00 at today's open market rate. Your spouse will have to provide a Uk address and that will be shown on the Tb test report.

I am not sure about children, InshaAllah one of the more informed member will answer your query soon.

my prayers are with you

The documents will need to be sent back to Gerrys for collection. Best to wait for email. It will come.

Somebody mentioned I think Rs7000 for a TB certificate, I don't know how much they would charge for a child.

Children :

All children must see a clinician who’ll decide if they need a chest x-ray. Children under 11 will not normally have a chest X-ray.

You must take your child to an Approved clinic and complete a health questionnaire. If the clinician decides your child doesn’t have TB they’ll give you a certificate. Include this certificate with your child’s UK visa application.

Spoke to someone and he was saying that if the child is British he or she does not need TB certificate but to stop hassle at airports better to get one.

I don't know it is true but better to yet one even if child is British.

@Sajj I did not receive the email saying its been processed I just got the reply to my tracking saying it has been processed do you think bhc will still send a separate email confirming this as the email would probably contain the same info that I've been given. do you think they will just send it back to gerrys and they will call me? or am I gonna be waiting another 2 weeks just for an email I already have?

Dear Sajjaduk,

When should one set up the online account? If all goes to plan, I intend to submit online application by first week of August.

After how many days on average you get Gerry's appointment once you submit the online application? I am planning to visit Pakistan as close to appointment date as possible.

thanks brother

Hi,

Can anyon please help me to understand the below email from UKVI.

"
I have tracked the status of your application and found that it is waiting
to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer. We will contact you once a
decision has been made or, if necessary, during the consideration of your
application.
"
Whats does this mean?
Does this mean that pre assessment has been completed?

My spouse applied on 14-April-2015

May Allah help all of us Ameen.

You can make an online account whenever your ready but only submit the application when you're ready to submit and then book an appointment.
Completed aapplications remain on system till submitted for 3 months before the account is then deleted
