Does anyone know when you email them, do you get a copy of the email to your email address or do you just get a reply from them.

Adnan bruv in sha Allah ur spouse will get visa, I prayed for you hope for best in this blessed month. Nothing stopping you to send the other docs to BHC by post, atleast you have tried I know some one did that last month via solicitor and got the visa. In sha Allah it will be good news.

Thanks. Well I have just emailed them asking if I could send additional documents, so lets see what they say. If not I guess I could just post them and better still do it through a solicitor, so that it is taken more seriously.

I think I have got about 2 weeks to sort this out before they start to make decisions, and I have been told that if they lack any papers they are likely to reject and ask you to apply again.

I didn't really miss any as I applied under category A, but I realise now I should have applied under category F.

So that means the business financial accounts, tax return and bank statements and my personal wages, bank statements need to be for the same period. I sent the latest financial account that was available at the time, and my personal documents, business bank statements for the tax year just ended. They need to be for the same period, so I need to send new financial accounts, and additional papers to make it for the same period.

On the one hand they say that you cannot give further documents later, but on the other hand they state that should some documents be missing and those documents would decide whether you got the visa or not then they should ask for those documents. I have just informed them that additional documents are available which may be material to the application so they should in theory ask to see them.

I didn't look at the appendix 2 until the last minute and didn't get any advice, whereas I should have looked at it at the start, even then I provided the relevant documents with one exception which was that all the documents needed to be related to the company's financial year whereas I tied them up with the tax year. If I had taken the time to get advice or read the guidance notes then it would have been better.

I thought that I had addressed the main concerns of employment, accommodation and subsisting marriage.

I advise everyone to seek legal help and get it right the first time but getting legal advice is also tricky as you have some people offering good advice and some that don't seem to know what they are doing, and seem just as confused as most of us. So speak to 2/3 and select the one that seems best but not someone that will just tell you what you want to hear and cause your problems later. It is better to pay money upfront then to pay it later and suffer the mental anguish of delays. It is better to take your time and get it right rather than to rush and have to apply all over again. I have written to a solicitor as well now and I am waiting for advice, worse case scenario I will need to apply again.

You are correct legal advice is also not correct..in my first application i was refused because of the (swearword for a bad person) lawyer and i didnt take any advice from elsewhere but most Eco are such (swearword for bad people) my refusal for 2nd app was basic I was missing one bank statement I provided 6 but I should have not put in the oldest one and put in a recent one...they could have asked for it...I had it..but they didn't.

Got the following reply from UKVI:

I am afraid that the applicants can not submit more documents after they
lodged the application at their local Visa Application Centre unless the
Entry Clearance Officers request later.

Heard back from the solicitor that it is up to the discretion of the ECO whether to allow further information to be provided, but generally they will expect you to reapply. So basically it depends on who you get as an ECO, and their mood at the time.

Based on my experience, I would suggest you to ring UKVI advisor (do not rely on email only), explain to them what actually happened and request them to escalate this to high commission Islamabad. I hope and pray that British high commission will allow you to submit your documents.

My spouse did not submit her original English certificate but after ringing to UKVi , UKVI escalated my issue with the UK High Commission and we were allowed to submit her English certificate.

My best wishes are with you. May Allah help you with this.
