Can sponsor ring the enquiry service to ask for update? Or does it have to be the applicant?

Good to see you guys in the group.

Sajjaduk, when you called them for an update, how much did you end up paying for the phonecall? The amount per minute is ridiculous!

Yes you will have vaf4a to sign
Appendix 2 which us still the same version
Need to write the nhs ref on the vaf4a form front page top corner
Would also suggest printing out the email with the ref and put that with the file

Good luck

Thank you for your email correspondence of 8 June on behalf of Mr Ahmed of ......., about his wife, Mrs..., who has appealed against the decision to refuse her Entry Clearance to come to the UK.

As advised in my email correspondence of 8 May, our Visa Section in Islamabad has received Mrs .....'s appeal determination, but further enquiries are necessary. These enquiries remain outstanding and I apologise for the continued delay.

I will contact you again by the end of September to advise you of the progress of the case.

Seriously? Anyone have any ideas on what to do next because this one application has dragged on for almost 2 years. Beyond a joke. Almost considering just reapplying.
I don't understand if your appeal was granted in January have they asked for your wife's passport?
Not yet. I don't understand what checks they are doing they had all the evidence at the hearing and it's not a new application.

Slaam bro i have been waiting a long time myself its very frustrating bt just b patient my wife visa was granted in dec14 on review handed passport in and still waiting for them to giv back the passport with stamp

If the child is born to atleast one British parent then apply for a British passport for the child
Takes roughly six months and once in the uk then register overseas birth in the uk registrar.. that's if one parent has British nationality
