Hi Guys,

Is anyone in the appeal process. How long does it take to get a court date after they acknowledge your appeal.

When they acknowledge appeal u go through a review u normally get that date 4-6 weeks once appeal is acknowledged then they review it can take 4-15 weeks and if it is overturned visa is granted if not then it goes to a court and u normally get that date 4/6 months after ..what's your reason for refusal?

Salaam all,

Anyone who recently got the 30 days visa, could you please tell from what date the visa is actually stamped in the passport? e,g date of intended travel, or date the visa was given

Also once you receive the email from gerrys that visa is processed, could you go and pick it up whenever you want or have to wait for a call/SMS saying it's ready for collection?

Would really appreciate the feedback. Thank you

Entry clearing officer or To whom it may concern.

Both perfectly fine.

I addressed it to To whom it may concern.

@asim_sharif

30 days visa is basically how much time you have to travel before that 30 days visa expires.

After 2.5 years, you have to apply again for another 2.5 years, which is I think exactly the same process, I.e. Visa fee, proof of employment, proof of relationship, etc.

Once 5 years are completed, then your spouse can apply for her stay (don't know what they call the proper term)

I think the above is correct, however I think other valuable members of this forum will confirm or correct me

Yes at FLR the 600 pounds will be payable again ... when it's time for ILR then no payment needed
