This means my papers have been sent to Eco in Islamabad and ready for review and the Eco has a certain time limit to check them over and if overturned its normally within a month if not then it goes to court

Here is my timelime line: Any idea how long will it take them more to process my spouse application:
Applied on 14-04-2015
04-07-2015: it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).
08-07-15: found that a decision on your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being conducted
15-07-15: 'Initial checks/pre assessment completed. Application is in Entry Clearance Officer’s queue for further assessment.'

Oh right, that's good. So it doesn't really take 28 days for a decision to be overturned like many say, because it takes at least around 2 months to get to review and then probably some more months for an outcome or to get the passport back.

No it normally takes 4/6 weeks to get to review but they r lagging behind at the moment and because majority of anyone who lodged appeal in April have got decisions over turned and their review deadlines were September they have received passports so I'm hoping for mid/end August

Hi Guys,
I was just checking my documents and found a mistake on my Marriage registration certificate. They have put wrong age. I was 28 years 9 months and 11 days old when I was married. but the certificate has my age as 28 years 10 months 1 day (HOW DID THEY MAKE THAT UP I CANT UNDERSTAND!!!!).
The date of birth on my Urdu and English Nikkah nama are correct.
Should i get a new marriage registration certificate or shall i just send my Urdu and Engilsh nikkah nama.. I would really appreciate your advise. Thanks.

Yep you are right, It should not cause any issues as the Nikah nama has the right birth dates.. I will try and get it rectified, if it can be done easily and doesnt take long. otherwise I will submit it and hope for the best.

Hi, can anyone advise me if I can get another birth certificate from the hospital where my daughter was born in Pakistan. As my wife has misplaced the original. We still have the union council birth certificate, NADRA birth registration, and her Pakistani passport. Just the hospital one is missing, and the embassy are asking for the original. It is for my wife's and daughters spouse visa application.

Anybody with similar experiences your input would be really appreciated. Thank you

Hey guys!

I've recently just started following this forum again and just wanted to share my timeline with you.

14/1/2015 - Applied for settlement visa in Karachi
16/4/2015 - Application was rejected because we had not included the property inspection report
30/4/2015 - Appeal sent in through a lawyer with the requested report
19/6/2015 - Received notice of pending appeal with a deadline of Sept. 30th
2/7/2015 - Refusal was overturned.Call letter received via email
14/7/2015 - Submitted passport to Gerrys

Alhamdulillah, My husband and I weren't expecting a response so soon after receiving the notice. I've read a lot of posts and there are quite a few people which are either strongly against appeals or strongly for them. However, no case is black or white. Each persons situation is different - while some may benefit with an appeal, others may not. After my rejection, a few people on this forum told me an appeal would be a waste of time. I am so glad that I did appeal because I wouldn't have been able to re-apply for a while.

What is the average time these days for receiving passport after submission with call letter?

Once you have the one from union council you don't need the one from hospital, as the union council is the official record. However if you gave them a photocopy of the one from hospital then they would ask for originals only.

@adnan111

Thanks for the reply. U speaking from experience or just guessing? Because when my wife submitted the case at VAC, they told her we don't need the hospital certificate as u have the rest, so she didn't submit hospital birth certificate.

However now the embassy ccontacted her stating we need original, she explained at the time VAC said I don't need it and now your telling me I do. Embassy simply said then we didn't but now we do. Joke. So we decided as hospital is local just ask them to provide another original certificate, and going to post that.

What do u reckon? It's the best way or not?

Any ones feedback/advice is much appreciated. Thank you

hi

i want to ask

previously wat date to write fr intended travel date i think not very important we can write any date though they give visa on the date they want no matter wat date we write.
but as rules change now like BRP card's so now the date realy matters? regarding 30 day visa and when should travel etc??

and wat date normaly we should write there?

also as the other ruke chabge regarding submission frm 6july. is it mean that after processing july application, they will have nothing to do except submitting passports

I am confused as you state that you didn't submit hospital certificate but then you state the embassy is asking for original?
