one thing more..as we are re-applying in the end of this month but my hubby's tb test report is expiring in the ed of oct...so will tht effect our application or shud we make a new one??
I know very little about TB tests. I read on this forum that you cannot get a new test until the old one expires. Might be worth checking with the agency that do the test and then taking it from there. If your certificate is valid at the time of applying then it might be worth applying with the current one.
I understand that your visa was refused because confusion arose between your gross and net salary. So that this does not happen again, it might be be worthwhile providing a summary of your salary showing the gross salary and tax deducted.
Although it is a change, I think sending your applications directly to the UK will make the process a little faster. I had to send my papers to Pakistan only to find they were then sent back to the UK.
A few things to remember:
- 1 - From the link I sent earlier, establish what papers go to Sheffield and what goes with your Husband to the regional processing centre.
2 - Remember to include a self addressed envelope. They asked us to send one so that they can return our papers once a decision is made.
3 - Get fresh copies of all your documentation, including your bank statements, payslips, accommodation survey, home ownership/rental lease
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
