i have two job to meet the income threshold.

my concern is that although the wage slip amounts match the amounts going into account the days are different.

Dates on wage slips and date money goes into account are different

should i get a letter from employer explaining why this is? Or will it be ok

One of the reasons is that the wage slip issued first and then within 7 days the wage goes into account
Definitely In my humble opinion you should get a letter from employers so that your covered and you done your bit and that it looks more presentable in case and it backs up the differ in wage slips and dates wages has be credited into account
Yeah I've also been reading comments here and on Facebook page. And a few turn outs are alarming!!. I wonder what the issue is all about bacs or online payment method used :?:
I know what you mean. In my opinion if my wage is paid on a different & I dnt mind then why should the ECO hav a prolem with it. I think as long as amounts are same it should be ok.

But I suppose ECO think otherwise.

But inshAllah I will attach letter for explanation.

Yes of course, I don't think they care how you stay in contact as long as you actually do. Somebody on this forum sent in only Skype calls and Skype messages as communication proof and they got the visa.

Salaam,

New to this forum. My wifes biometrics were taken on 14th May but still havent received a reply.

I have tried escalating by filling out the form on the email page but keep getting the same auto reply that thank you for requesting status update, your application is yet to be assessed by an ECO.

Is there any way i can speed up the process. Despite asking for an escalation keeps giving me the same status update. Have been getting the same auto reply for last 3 weeks.

Any help or advice?

Thanks

Hi All,

I had started online application 5th July, had to cancel and repay £1000 again for spouse visa as IHS Button wasn't there, even though their website stated change was from anyone who applied before the 4th July.

Anyways, i requested refund online , no reply or cancel email - been around 3 weeks

Anyone in same boat who had to re-do? How long does refund come after?

On the visa4UK website they have:

How long will it take before I receive my refund for the Visa Application Fee?
It can take up to 28 working days. If you have not received a response to your refund request after this period please raise this via the form at - https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/ .

I got mine done from a local solicitor who specialises in immigration. Cost me £60-£70. If you get it done from an estate agent, make sure you tell them it's for immigration purposes, because they need to meet immigration requirements within the report. A normal inspection report won't be accepted.

As for Skype logs, I'm not too sure, you can read through this link, it may have the answer: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA392/ ... do-with-it.

I only submitted whatsapp and some viber call logs, because that's all I used. No Skype or Facebook.

I don't see any point in collecting travel tickets from Luton to London. The ECO doesn't want to know how someone gets to work.

I don't. Just tell them you need it for immigration purposes. They should know, if they seem confused or don't know, don't use them.

Didn't you submit one with your previous application?

Hi you're housing stuff should be done by an estate agent.
I would advise you to screen shot skype/whatsapp calls/msgs viber anything to strengthen you're case and to prove the relationship is legit.
And travel docs wouldn't really be required.

aslaam alaycum everyone

A lot of local councils do housing reports which may be a good idea if it's available.

Regarding communication I would provide as many sources as you can as it shows more evidence for a strong relationship ( not saying you won't get it with less). A summary of all the calls and then a couple of screen shots of each month should be fine inshallah. If you paste them into word you can get many into one page and then provide a title and page number.

Do post a list of your application contents even if you have checked many times. Having someone look over it with a fresh pair of eyes may prove valuable.

June applicants inshallah you will hear soon.

Mellow the dramatics. I'm sure she will contact them again, even if she doesn't she should still receive the refund. I read someone saying it took them 6 weeks to get the their refund. I think their reason was due to a refusal though.

Aoa.
I would like to know when is the best time to courier my documents to my husband in uk to be sent to sheffield, before biometrics appointment or after that? Does gerry's give any document which should be sent with visa file? What do we have to take along for biometrics appointment at gerry's?

Thanks all, yes i was going to wait 28 days and then maybe ask but everytime you email on the form, they do not answer the question you are asking them. Yes, only reason why i asked for refund was because of IHS Problem that affected us but if i email, they dont reply properly and if i dont chase it up they might not even bother refunding and say i didnt follow it up.

We didnt submit biometrics on that ref so they should give me refund as its genuine reason and was their website fault anyways
