Quick Question: Am I supposed to put the IHS Reference No. on my application. If yes then where should I put it?

the ihs reference number should be written on the top right hand side of the online application form once printed. Also it needs to be on the envelope. Make sure you write the gwf number on the envelope too.

Is the biometric confirmation page part of the online application or is it a separate document?

Hi Frqazi,

Thanks for the link, I emailed them and I received the following response:

Dear... your visa application has not been assessed yet by case worker, each application is individually assessed by independent case worker, please note that we aim to process 95% of settlement application in 12 weeks and 100% in 24 weeks.

I guess we have to wait? have you enquired regarding your application status?

Yes that is correct , make sure you use special next day delivery , I used DHL all paperwork weighed just under 500gramms and cost £7.00 and was delivered next day

Also include two large strong stamped addressed envelopes
So that they can return all your documents back to you. As they will not fit in one

Yes, I will. I plan to send through tracked royal mail. Have already dispatched all supporting docs to spouse. So she will receive them by the time I have my Bio.

Hey, just thought I'd post my time line for any one interested, not sure how to add it as a signature :(

Online Application: 01/10/2015
Biometrics: 05/10/2015
Online Application Received Email: 12/10/2015

Chased for an update: 26/11/2015 - response was "Case In Progress"
Chased for an update: 08/12/2015 - response was "delayed whilst inquiries are made"

Does anyone know if the delay email is anything to worry about or is this a generic email once the case goes past a certain number of days?
