I got my passport back at 21st May..Khanz123 wrote:My partner applied in March and is still waiting for RFC. We applied 11 weeks ago :
It's been 56 working days.
I've looked over this forum for the last months... February applications were taking 9 weeks, with one exception; the applicant applied at the end of February and recieved a successful visa on exactly 12 weeks.
There was a applicant called Sadia786 who's had just gone over 12 weeks and now she's not posted on the forum. Insha'Allah she will have got her visa.
I'm guessing there are no more March applicants.
thank you so very much for your quick reply and yes, i did try asking them again and again but what they say is literally weird, they say " its out of our hold once we send it to Islamabad OC & that OC is the internal wing of British High Commission.arsalank wrote:I wish I could advise you but after you've had no luck with Gerry's it's hard to say what to do. As they are the one's who took your application they should give you an update. Once its reached the BHC it's then out of their hands.
I have read that Gerry's are often poor at updating their internet tracking service. If you were to have a problem it would have been picked up at the BHC stage, not prior to this.
I know it's a frustrating time but if I was you I would ring Gerry's again tomorrow and explain how it's their responsiblity to update you on your application. Emphasise that you are aware that once it reaches the BHC they have no control, however as it has not reached their yet (according to the system) then they (Gerry's) must update you.
Insh'Allah this will bring you some peace of mind.

I have 2 jobs: 1 is 10 years old 20 hrs per week contract and I do overtime so my salary is variable,In last 12 months I have earned 14000.00 and from 2nd job which is 5 months old I have earned 6000 Pounds. So the total is 20000 pounds earned so far at the time I applied.I applied in Cat B.
Iam not sure is it right or not.Can any one help.
Technically u would need 53 payslips for weekly job n 12 for monthly under category B..atifalisheikh wrote:Thanks for the prompt reply. My one job is weekly pay so I submitted 26 pay slips other one was monthly so I submit 5 payslips. Also the last payslip (March 2013)shows 14000+ gross I have already earned from April 12 to mar 13 ,It still require 52 payslips or not.
