I receive a standard reply which heading is 22/07/13-Deferred :(
I have also received a reply to my email with 'deferred' in the subject heading, I asked my solicitor and he says it means their doing spot checks!

Hopefully he is right and it doesnt mean its on hold or anything.
I had an email acknowledging my extra evidence i sent, and the title said deferred!
Oh, did they say anything as to why it has exceeded 24weeks?!

Nope, just said the new evidence would be attached to my husbands application and we will hear through gerrys when a decision has been made!

Salaam Everyone,

ALHAMDULILLAH My Husband has got his VISA!!!!!!

Our Timeline:

Application submitted: 03/07/2013
Application forwarded to BHC Under process: 17/07/13

Letter from BHC sent to my husband dated: 23/09/13
Email sent to my Solicitor (Same letter that was sent to my husband): 23/07/13

Letter basically said you don't meet income threshold and to send additional documents to show that u do. Otherwise application would be put on hold. I definitely met the income threshold of £18,600 however to clarify and confirm this again I sent further documents.

RFC: 01/11/13
Application & Visa Successful: 04/11/13

Salaam Everyone

Been silently watching in the background. Just thought I'd contribute by sharing my timeline.

Application submitted at ISL: 01/08/13
Under process at BHC: 20/08/13

Emailed Gerry's: 04/11/13
Gerry's forwarded email: 04/11/13

Since it's been just over 3 months I decided to send an email to Gerry's who sent me a message which appears as if my email has been forwarded.
It says:

Dear Team,

For your perusal please.

Warm Regards,

Islamabad VAC Manager
UK Visa Application Centre
Gerry's International
Islamabad

I have just found this forum and decided to get some advice here. My wife submitted her application on 20th May 2013, over 24 weeks and it's been saying the same thing 'under process' for this duration. I wrote to the BHC via email and reply stated that checks are being carried out.

Very frustrated, not sure what I can do next. Any suggestions please.

Asallam-o-Alykum Wa Rahmat Allah
Get your MP involved now and explain him/her everything that this is what UKBA state that 100% application will be dealt by 24weeks so on and so forth and mine hadn't been done etc etc
Hopefully that will help abit.

Thank you for your reply.

Isn't this a violation of what the HC in Islamabad claim and looking on their website they claim that 100% of the visas are issued within 120 days. This is clearly not the case.

Do you think it might affect my case if I wrote a letter to the home secretary in the UK and asked my local MP to raise a question in the parliament? This is clearly a case of mismanagement because of which couples are being kept apart due to no fault of there own.

I think you should start a petition, most people on this forum would be glad to sign it!

Aoa
That's what I did apart from writing to Ms May. I wrote a harsh complaint mentioning same thing about their standard and 120 days policy etc etc.
I write same thing to my MP and got standard reply.
Having said, your 24 weeks aren't up yet. It will early next week because you need to count bank holidays in UK and Eid and other holidays in pakistan.
Hope that helps. Remember rest of us in duaa.

You must have to involve your MP because I was in the same situation,i even didn't know about the status of my application but when my MP wrote a letter to Home office then they told him that my application is on hold because ECO was not satisfied with our income now atleast I know the status of my application and have done the further procedure, i have already sent my supporting documents through E-mail, Fax and Courier that can proof that I meet the minimum income threshold requirement.
Application submitted from Lahore:23/04/2013
Application forwarded to Isd OC:23/04/2013
Under process at BHC :07/05/2013
Application hold on :08/10/2013
Supporting Documents submit 0n:04/11/2013
RFC: 10/12/2013
Outcome:Will be positive INSHALLAH
