I sent documents using DHL. The BHC should have received your documents within 5 working days and you should be able to track online using waybill number on DHL website.Majy05 wrote:Has any one used DHL courier to send documents to british high commission and how long did u receive a reply saying documents received like....i sent mine on the 2nd waiting a reply 7 months....

Hope your wife's interview goes well. In the meantime prepare her for the interview. As far as i know they only interview if they suspect something is not right. But dont worry once your wife takes the interview hopefully they wont have any doubt and issue visa.AHMED.46001 wrote:An update on my wife's application:
We had received an email saying a decision has been made. To confirm i had sent another email using a different address and also called them. Got the same response and on the phone they actually said the decision was made on the 28th of April and that rfc should be anytime soon.
Wed 7th may my wife received a call after lunch (pakistan time) to say that she has an interview next tuesday 13th may. So they took an address and said they've posted a letter to her with further details.
Does anyone know anything about the interview process?
Congratulations ! Very happy for you.. gives us hope too.Sidra Akil wrote:Guys for anyone who cant access the tracking page here is a link.

It is very unlikely that BHC will email you to let you know they received your documents. You can email them like i did asking wether they received the documents or not even though i knew they did, but just wanted confirmation just encase.
Inshallah i will make dua for you that your husband gets his visa soon as possibleALWAYSHOPE wrote:Insha AllahSidra Akil wrote:ALWAYSHOPE wrote:To Sidra A Kil

My husband application remains on hold. Hope the law changes quickly so final decision can be made on our application. Allah knows best.

Don't worry about it. The older applications weren't openly provided that ref anywhere. If you log onto the visa4uk online application it'll be there. It's the official application ref.Shine786 wrote:Guys , excuse my ignorance but what is the GWF ?
Got an email back saying they need this number, I only have the application number I input for tracking the application ...
You have to log in with the details that you registered when the application was submitted and it's literally there on the first page that pops up.Beena wrote:I'm trying to locate my GWF number too, as when we applied we weren't given it, and every time I contact anyone regarding my case they ask for the GWF number!!
I tried visiting the visa4u website but no luck

The old applications still have GWF numbers. We just didn't havea need for them before. The old tracking was done by Gerrys themselves not UKBA so if you email UKVI they won't know what the old tracking numbers are as they won't be using the same systems as Gerrys. It really isn't that difficult. You just log onto the online application to obtain the GWF number for it. UKVI use that as a reference to locate the specific applicationsfn286 wrote:Guys....
Tracking with GWF number is for new applications only...online applications... presviously gerry's use to issue a reference numbers that could be tracked using their passport tracking link... new applications cannot be tracked using that link.. new international enquiry service requires GWF number hence I would assume its only for new applications...

To be honest i have no idea why our documents were not accepted. After 2 months passed after waiting and hoping documents would get accepted, we emailed them and they said they cannot make decision on documents sent and that they will make decision when the courts decision is known.
Documents that were requested were bank statements and planning permission letter. Wonder when the decision outcome will be known?
