freedom of movement eu family member with ex visa

freedom of movement eu family member with ex visa

When in schengen zone eu family member with non eu spouse what happens when the schengen visa expire can they still travel to another country and can apply residence any where despite schengen visa is expired thanks

can they still travel by air and by road with expired schengen visa while eu citizen and non eu spouse are together with marriage certificate and .
if there is any link please paste it thanks

this is a general question only
You ask a lot of general questions and questions for friends.

If the person is a family member of an EU/EEA citizen and they are travelling together, it does not matter if they visa has expired. (MRAX is the ECJ case about this).

Once the EU citizen is working in the host member state, or is self sufficient, the non-EU family member can apply for a Residence Card.
