Tier 1 General Maintenance

I am about to apply for an extension on Tier 1 general, I recently travelled abroad for a week on a business trip returned on the 10th May 2012, I need to clarify how much maintenance fund I need to show for myself and 4 dependants.

Should it be 600*4+900=£3,600
or 1800*5=£9000

Based on the new rule in place.

No one can answer with this piece of information.

Are you in UK for more than 12 months or not will decide what you need to maintain for your dependents.

If more than 12 months then
900 + (4 * 600) = 3300 GBP

If not then
900 + (4 * 1800) = 8100 GBP

My query is within the last 24 months I have recently travelled alone on a biz trip for 8days. Return date 10th May. Considering my 4 dependants who have been in uk for the last 23 months. please confirm how much maintenance fund should show for 90 days prior to my application

Ok to make it simpler does that mean that any holiday outside Uk within the last 12 months mean I have been in uk for less than 12 month or not

This will enable me determine how much fund I need to have for myself n 4 dependants.
