Hi I just need some general guidance on this.
Recently 4 months ago my wife entry clearance was refused on the grounds that we didnt provide sufficient evidence for our relationship. But we did provide our marriage certificate. However there requirements were not clear in the guidance and thus my wife entry clearance was refused. We appealed the decision back and during review the entry clearance officer overturned his decision.
But i believe this is an error from UKBA end , as they are not very clear in there guidance as if what do they need. So we thought providing marriage certificate would be sufficient .
However my wife was granted visa, but still we had to pay 140 pounds for the oral appeal to the justice, which didnt took place.
However i believe this is an error from UKBA end , and we were not supposed to pay 140 pounds. So i would like to cliam it back
Can anyone suggest how i can go about this. As we paid this 140 pounds to the justice and not UKBA. is it possible to claim it back or not?
Regards
David
