Naturalisation

Post by Hari13 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 10:32 pm

Hi,

I have held ILR for over a year through 10 years long residence. My daughter ,under 18, born abroad also has held ILR over a year. My wife also got ILR last month on the basis of 10 years long residence.

My question is:

I am eligible for Naturalisation. Can I make family application by including my daughter not my wife as she is ineligible? How can my daughter be registered as a British Citizen? She has been here in UK for more than 10 years.

Could you please help me? Many thanks.

There is no such thing as family application but she can apply for registration when you apply for naturalisation.

I suggest you read Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting. Scroll down for the children section.
