maternity and/or paternity leave

Post by gvmnt » Thu Jul 05, 2012 11:21 am

with the stamp "no recourse to public funds" does one jeopardize the ILR track by taking maternity / paternity leave? is maternity / paternity leave considered public funds?

Maternity or Paternity Leave or for that matter any other type of leave are not funds, therefore cannot be considered to be "Public Funds".

i suppose you are correct if the leave is unpaid. however, if an early portion of the leave is "paid" (i thin there is some statutory minimum level of pay, etc.) - what happens in this situation?

The information posted under the following link should help you. Specifically look through pages 7-9.
