If your EEA Family Permit is still valid, I doubt you will get a new Code 1A stamp on it. You could certainly ask...

You could try asking kindly to the IO. Ask ask the manager to come over if the IO refuses.

You could try a cheap day return on the ferry to France after Oct 20th... 35 pounds for the car and have some lunch in France before returning...

Has your wife's employer expressed concerns about her ability to work? Or are you just worrying ahead of yourself?

JJ.
You've already applied for COA. Can I suggest that you expedite the COA, state that you need it for work? This will solve your problem.

Sorry for my late reply.

Indeed, my wife's employer has expressed concerns about her right to work after her family EEA visa expires on 19 October. They would like to see any official document stating she is legally allowed to work in the country.

Do you have any specific recommendations apart from the ones you've previously mentioned?

Would you know how to accelerate the COA if my wife is not granted the Code 1A stamp?

Best wishes,

JJ
