Certified Passport copies of Spouse for Tier2 Dependent?

Hi All,

I am going to apply for a Tier2 Dependent application from India.Is it mandatory to provide certified copies of spouse passport with the application?As of now, I just have copies of 36 pages of her passport.I have got my visa appointment on Monday.

If at all she gets it certified from any UK solicitor today and sends to me by post, it would take more than a week to receive them and my visa process will get delayed by another week.Can I provide scanned certified copies to save time,not sure if this is acceptable?

A quick response will be highly appreciated.
