Second entry clearance for wife-subsistence proof required?

Hi,
My wife was with me in UK for almost 2 years on tier1 dependant visa. Couple of months back she went to home country for delivery(and her visa expired) and we will apply entry clearance for both kid and mother in two months.

1)Do I neeed to proove subsistence of relationship? My wife was with me until May and the gap between she leaving to India and here next entry clearance application could be just 5 months.
2)Do the kid need to submit anything other than birth certificate to proove relationship to father/mother?
