ILR Success @ Croydon PEO - 30-July

Post by Prem2012 » Mon Jul 30, 2012 1:04 pm

Hi All,

I have today got ILR approved at Croydon PEO.

Just to say a BIG thanks to all senior members and readers of this forum. This has helped me a lot to prepare my application and get satisfactory answers on my queries time to time.

Below is the summary of today's appointment. I hope this will help others.

Appointment was booked for 8:00 am.

7:30 - Arrived to PEO Office
7:45 - Security and then Payment done.
8:20 – Called at the window for general verification of application and passport entries in system I guess and then been asked to go for Biometrics.
8:45 – Biometrics done for all three
10:30 – Token was called by CW and submitted all documents along with SET (O) Form. CW said it will take 1 Hr. to finish the process and so left the window. However, I was watching from other seat as CW as going through all the documents one by one. CW was senior lady and didn’t ask any questions. In fact it was like one day postal application as drop all documents and then come after one Hr. to hear result. :D
11:40 – ILR approval letter was handed to me saying your application is all fine and BRP will be received in next 7 working days. We left the building after verification of approval letter.

General observation – I had to wait almost 1.5 hrs after biometrics as tokens after me was being called. But kept little patience and got my token called. The token displays in PEO office were not working and guy told me that these are being replaced. It’s hard to keep all your full attention when they announce your token.

My case:
Entered UK on WP on end July-2007 and then got Tier1 on Feb-2008. Employed till Aug-11 and then doing consultancy using my own limited company. Total absences 86 in last 5 years.

Documents submitted Originals and Photocopies of all documents except application form. (Photocopies helps, otherwise CW takes your time to do photocopies one by one. I have seen for other applications)

1. SET(O) form
2. Passports (new + old) and BRPs
3. Life in UK test certificates (myself and souse)
4. Earnings:
a. Payslips 12 (not sure if required, but payslips were signed by accountant)
b. Dividend vouchers 4
c. Personal Bank Statement
d. Accountant letter confirming my earnings (salary + dividend) and profits made on business.
e. Business bank statements
f. Business interim accounts to show profits made.
g. Bunch of other documents (it was not requested but left with CW – Business VAT registration, invoices)
h. Bunch of other documents (it was not requested but left with CW - my self-assessment summary for last 5 years and P-60s for 5 years)
5. Age – Claimed points based on initial Tier1
6. UK exp. Points claimed.
7. Cohabitation Proofs –
a. Council Tax Letters for last 4 years
b. Tenancy agreements for last 2 years
c. Couple of NHS letters
d. Spouse bank statements.
8. Prepared a summary of all absences with exact details of passport stamps. I think it helps CW.

Now awaiting for BRP’s to arrive.

I hope this information will be helpful. If anyone has any questions on above case, please feel to ask.

Cheers, P

Hi Prem2012,

Did your Dividend vouchers have Net and Gross on it? My accountant's letter and Payment summary do but I'm wondering if to get my accountant to redo the vouchers?

Cheers

Great news!
Could you please tell me if the CW asked for the interim company accounts? My claimed earning period tallies with my limited company financial year but I do not have enough time to get the interim accounts or final accounts created as my appointment is on the 3rd August and the financial year ends on 31st July.

Thanks

Hi

Lots and lots of heartiest congratulations on getting your ILR and thanks a lot for sharing your PEO experience with us on the forum.

I am really glad that you haven't come accross that so called night mare IT problem or IT issues.

Please kindly keep us posted on the forum once you'll receive your BRP cards.

Good luck for the future.

Thanks for the reply.
I will not be able to get my company accounts in place for the current financial year in place but am hoping that I will have enough supporting evidence for last financial year and contracts/invoices/business bank statements etc.
