Assume passport has new page with visa? (in addition to getting BRP cards later)

you will not get any visa in passport. They will issue the Biometric card which will be your visa.

Hi Rajan

I was there and my number was 50 but still did not get any call.
Do you think I will go directly to croydon to collect my passport?
Also Can I travel without BRP Card?
Thanks in advance

Hi Andy - You cannot travel without BRP as that will be your Visa. Earlier they used to stamp the Visa in passport but after Biometric now they will give BRP card as visa.

Regarding going to UKBA - they way I understand - You can go to Croydon office and tell gate person that you have come to collect your document from ROD window so that they can allow you to go inside the building. Once you go to ROD window you can make a request to speed up your application. Pl note that you must need to have very strong reason and need to convince ROD representative about your case. If she gets convinced she "may" help you to get the visa. Once again - Pl do this only if you are in urgent situation else it may backfire. I have never done this but read somewhere. Sometime they withdraw your application because of your urgent need then it will backfire, so Pl be careful.

This is bad I have to confess I lost at least 50% of my productivity this week from being worried and staring at my idiot-phone :(

Guys - turns out UKBA has already approved my ILR either Monday / Tuesday, and returned my documents to my company's immigration lawyer who received it late yesterday afternoon.

They never called me - not cool.

but anyway i'm at least relaxed now, plus the weather in london today i would say this now has a happy ending.

Again:

Croydon PEO 03-Aug, approved and documents received 08-Aug.

still awaiting !

Post by flubberz » Thu Aug 09, 2012 10:57 am

What can I say still awaiting ! Croydon PEO 3rd Aug 2012 !

I was told that day that I can call the customer service number and give my reference number and find out about the progress.

When I called the 08706067766, was on hold for 20 mins ! Then the rude lady at the end with no emotions just said " we dont deal with this, we have no information on applications less than 6 months, we dont have the customer service number of any PEO, we dont know. Write a letter ! "

So much for a customer service.

I don't know what to expect !!! A phone call? a courier ? a letter?

Yes I believe we should get the refund, this is not at all a premium on the day service !

waiting in all hopes !

I'm surprised that you can get to somebody on that number - when i tried it says "your call will not be forwarded" at the beginning, and just gives you loads of bullsh1ts on autoanswer.

I think UKBA has done a good job of upsetting most of the future british citizens. If this is the conservative's policy to drive migrants away they have done it properly.

Hi reddy - great for you.
Could you let me know which part of UK you are based in - am just trying to figure out the time it is taking for the docs to make it to London and you are the one person who's received both the BRP and the documents from Friday's application.

:)
