Initial Application or Further period of study?

Post by mrz » Fri Aug 10, 2012 4:53 pm

I have completed my undergraduate course from a university this 25th May 2012 and my visa will expire on 30th October 2012.

I am now in my homecountry. I have got CAS from another university for Postgraduate course. I will submitt my visa application next week. I have rest of the tuition fees + 9 months living cost in my bank for more than 28 days.

If I tick 1.'Initial Application' in the form, do you think it will be ok? or it will be a 4. further period of study?

1.Initial application – Go to Question 6.6

2.Further period of study following a course of less than six months (No reduced maintenance level) – Go to Question 6.6

3.Further period of study following a course completed more than four months ago (No reduced maintenance level)
Go to Question 6.6

4.Application for a further period of study and you have an established presence and so qualify for the reduced maintenance (see Tier 4
guidance for an explanation). Go to Question 6.9
