Hi everyone,
I am considering applying to HSMP. I still dont know if I will do that through a consultant, but have contacted two of them following the advice of my recruitment agent...
Have you guys ever heard that one can claim 35 points even though work experience doesnt exactly total 4 years? I have 42 months of professional experience, and heres the quoted text from the consultant i have adressed:
"t is not absolutely necessary to have the total 48-months. If you have 40-months or over below 48 then that is usually admissible by the Home Office. Please give me the exact amount of time (in months) you have spent in full-time graduate level work so that I can advise you properly as to whether you will need to postpone your application? [...] Also, I want to inform you that the amount of required work experience drops from 48-months to 36-months if one has obtained a PhD. I am not sure if this is at all relevant but I thought it worth mentioning."
I don't know what to think. I have read several posts on this forum and got that general feel about how strict case workers can get when assessing applications, so i m rather scpetical as regards to that info.. does any one know cases where 35 points (or any other work category points) were attributed for less than the duration required??
Please advise!!!
Many thanks in advance-
