Further changes to Residential period for ILR dependants

Hello All,

I've been to the CAB Solicitor last week and further to our discussion, she's tipped me that there is a likely chance of softening the rules for dependents. (In regards to the changes brought in from 9th of July). Has anyone heard of anything on this lately?

I heard that they are going to relax the rules, but I have also heard they won't relax the rules, instead make them even harder.

I have also heard that they will ban all dependents. I have even heard that they will ban all immigration altogether. They even plan to bomb all the air and sea ports so no one can get in.

But then from another guy I heard that they are going to bring "open door" immigration policy.

Now take your pick.

Any relevant references to what you heard or did you just heard down the road?
As your hearings lack both technically and theoretically?

I heard some things from the barber. Some other things from the taxi driver. Plumber was on about some other stuff.

But then I heard from someone that these guys might not be very reliable, and they themselves may have heard from somebody else.

So, basically I have no idea.
