ILR AND COURT CONVICTION

I am a silent viewer of this forum since last christmas time. I was involved in a minor accident last year and on 30th May 2012 I got 6 points and 300 pounds fine from Magistrate court. My ILR is due in MAY 2013. As you know that LASPO 2012 got Royal Assent on 1st May which reduce the fine rehab duration from 5 yrs to 1 yr. I seen few guys on this board who got ILR even they got fine from court.

Should i need to wait till 31st May 2013(to complete one year) and then apply for ILR?
Which PEO you recommend me that deal well with traffic conviction cases?

Just need your expert opinion.

Kindly guide me.
