I had my initial tier 1 (gen) visa valid till september 2012, back in December 2011 my passport had expired so after renewing my passport I applied for TOC at PEO Croydon and had biometrics taken as part of the application. Subsequently I was issued with a BRP as is now the norm rather than a vignette in my new passport.
I have now applied for tier 1 (gen) extn application in first week of August, and received acknowledgment letter however its been two weeks and havent received any biometric letter. I am wondering whether I will be required to provide biometrics again as part of this application, considering I already had them taken 8 months ago.
Please advise if those who already have BRP and then apply for extension (tier 1 gen) are also required to have Biometrics taken again?
Would highly appreciate a response from a moderator or someone in the same boat as me.
