Schengen Visa issued by france

Post by koolmd » Wed Aug 22, 2012 4:56 pm

Hello House,

i am intending to go on vacation to the netherlands. I applied for tourist visa and was directed at the Netherland website that France administers it in my home country (Nigeria) for now. I have a class C single entry valid for 30 days for the entire schengen araea . Now i also intend visiting Paris and Brussels on the trip although i will spend more time in Amsterdam.

My concern here is that, does the fact that i did not state in my application form that i will be visiting Paris and Brussels constitute a breach of my visa term even though i will be visiting the three schengen states within this same trip before returning back to my home country?

Hi koolmd,

you can visit the entire Schengen area without complications, also because there are simply no checkpoints between the countries.

So you can do the trip as you planned, and you will not encounter any problems.

Enjoy!

Christian

Hello,

I finally got my Schengen visa (tourist 90 days Multi-C) issued by France on behalf of Netherland as its France that presently administers Netherland visas in my country.

My challenge, i only indicated that i'll be visiting The Netherlands on my visa application. My visa was issued and written ''ETATS SCHENGEN'' as usual but there is somewhere in the remark writthen R/NL.What does this mean,i hope this visa still permitts me to visit Brussels and Paris as i intend visiting next month during my vacation.
