I received my Tier 2 visa in Nov 2009 and I am going for an extention in September 2012. By reading the policy guidance and so many posts of this discussion forum, I completely understand that P60 or payslips are not mandatory for an extension. But to be on the safe side I have the following query:
I am going in person (already booked an appointment) to belfast for extention. My CoS (which was issued in 2009) shows a gross annual salary of 31,980 pounds. My p60 (for 2009 - 2010) shows my gross salary 32,009 pounds, p60 (for 2010-2011) shows 31,991 pounds and p60 (for 2011-2012) shows gross salary as 31819 pounds. Because of the tax code change (2011-2012) gross annual salary is 160 pounds short from what was stated on the CoS (certificate of Sponsorship) in 2009. My net monthly or yearly payment remained same but because of the tax code the gross salary has slightly decreased. My bank statement shows that the net payments are same as before.
Could this be a problem for extension? I am a bit worried on this. Please note according to occupation code the salary requirement for my role is currently 25,600 pounds which means my salary (since 2009) is above the required appropriate rate.
I would highly appreciate if someone or senior members of this forum can advise me on this issue.
