ILR-Gap in work

Post by turtle » Sun Sep 02, 2012 7:14 pm

Hello Everyone,

First of all thanks to everyone who's doing a great job by helping complete strangers.

My question is regarding my husband who is due to apply for his ILR next month (from Tier 1-General). He was not working from 2009 September to February 2011. However, due to the timing according to Financial years, he was able to show income for all 5 years. His P60 is missing for 2009-10. However, we have got the 5yr tax history from HMRC. His earning criteria is met in last 15 months.

Is that a problem? Is it better to apply in person or by post? what all documents can we send to substantiate his case?

Any advice or suggestion is welcome.

Thanks.
