Switching from Tier 1 PSW visa to Tier 2

Post by syp1408 » Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:08 pm

Hi,

I would like some advice on switching from a tier 1 PSW to a tier 2 visa.

My current job title is similar to an Information Officer (soc code 3433 - level 6) and this is what will be on my CoS. I have performed this job for the last 2 years for the same employer.

Will my employer have to undertake a resident labour market test for my current job before I can apply for a tier 2 visa?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Spy1408,

Your employer do not need to undertake resident labour market test because you are on PSW visa so employer is exempt from RLMT.

but as you mention the Soc Code 3433 Level 6 so make sure you check that you earning is equal to or more than the required limit for that specific job
check this link

look for you soc code and job title and minimum salary for that job.

you it help and good luck with you case
