ILR success at PEO Croydon 07.09.12

Post by Notabene » Fri Sep 07, 2012 7:48 pm

First of all, thank you to everyone who contributed to this forum. I got a lot of answers to my questions from here, therefore want to share my experience. Applied myself and my 3 years old daughter. HSMP(2)+Tier 1(3). Got into UK on the 4.09.07. Appointment was at 12.45. Arrived at 12.05, 12.10 went through security, 12.13 - passports and application checked, 12.22- paid £2066, 12.35- appl.form and passports checked for biometrics, 12.55- done our biometrics and then waited until 15.35, caseworker took the documents and photocopies of hem that I have prepared myself(just to speed things up), 15 later she asked if I have my old passport from which I took the page with Entry Clearance, which I didn't. And then went away, at 16.35 returned my originals with the letter and explained that cards should arrive within 7 days. And that's about it.
Submitted:
Page with first visa
Passports mine and daughters
Police certificate
Birth certificate
Payslips for 14 months
5 years P60s
Letter from employer confirming salay for 12 months, all sorts of leave Aiken for this period and annual leave allowance
Letter from GP confirming dates away for treatment abroad
Bank statements 12 months
Homeoffice letters with previous granting leave
Life in uk test
Calculation of absence in three sheets: medical treatment (56days)
Annual leave and maternity leave (2 months in my country) 156 days
And weekend trips to EU (no days in total as went on one day returned on the other) and thats all. No questions asked. Good luck to everyone!

congratulations
two questions i have if you dont mind telling me
1. how did you book your appointment, was it easy to book?
2. for the documents, did the case worker ask for all these or you submitted them on your own?

thanks

i have booked an appointment 42 days in advance just after midnight. just count 42 daysto your appointment -date-in-mind and you have the date when you ahve to book you appointment.make sure you fill the criteria for search before midnight and hit the button just after 12. i neede PEO at Croydon, so cant comment about other PEOs. But tried this method few times to be sure it does work ;)With regards to the documents, CW just asked for the documents that i want to submit and thats all- the list was my own, and i have done the copies of the documents just to facilitate the CW:) i had other documents prepared just in case, but thanks GOd she didnt need more evidence. The SAR that i requested from HomeOffice arrived yesterday, when i was at PEO, for me to see it only today)))
I used to work as a lawyer myself, so i just thought how else i could proof this fact or another. so far so good))Good luck!
