Travelling to Europe with naturalization certificate

Hello every one

We have planned a trip to Europe and I was initially intneding to apply for a Shenghen visa ( on Indian passport + ILR ). How ever we will be receving naturalization certificates very shortly.

Just wanted to check if we could travel to EUrope ( Austria) without a visa on the grounds of us having received naturalization certificates and thus being British citizen.

Any one with first hand experience?
