Moving back to the US?

Post by AubreyBullock » Sun Sep 16, 2012 12:13 pm

I am a US Citizen, just married a British Citizen living in the UK. I will get my Marriage Visa in soon.

We want to stay here a bit longer (maybe 1 year...) and then move back to the states.

Is this possible? I know I wont have any problems getting back in because I am still an American Citizen. But my husband... will he run into problems? I understand we will have to go through a process getting him a work permit and all. But will this be very difficult? Moving back to the states with my British husband?

You need would be better off posting your query in the US immigration section of the forum. How long do you intend on staying in the states for and do you intend on coming back to the UK in the future?
