Help/Advise for UK Visa application for in-law from India

Post by amsufyan38 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 5:25 pm

Hi all

Need some advise with regards to a visa application for my parent in law who is intending to visit the UK. from India.

She has been over here twice as a visitor and had no problems in obtaining a visa. The issue now though is since she came over I understand a lot more paperwork is required, in the past I just sent a declaration letter.

My finances are a bit streched since buying a home and have been using the overdraft for the last year. However, my parent in law, is financially well off and has savings in her bank account so will be clearly able to show that she can support herself.

Is it advisable that she puts the application showing proof of her finances and I send documents to proof my permanent stay in the UK, proof of accommodation and an invitation letter?? Would this be advisable?
