Section 6.1 of SET(0) Form

Post by Crommers » Wed Sep 19, 2012 12:02 pm

Hello can someone please help? I am going to be applying for my ILR shortly and am unsure how to answer 6.1. I initially started out on a work permit (granted 26-Mar-2012) and switched to a HSMP (granted 20-Jul-12). Therefore I am making the application based on my time in the HSMP which has been five years.

However, I was already in the country when I switched to the HSMP - so am unsure what to put when it asks you to state the date when you first entered the country. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thank you!!!

check the above link. you should use the date when you were granted your HSMP Visa, but I am not sure how you would be able to apply for ILR when your visas were just issued on 20th July 2012.

Thank you so much! Sorry I am in such a stress over the visa - it was 2006 when I got the Work Permit and 2007 the HSMP. I will put the date of the HSMP at the date entered.

Many thanks again.

Hi All,

Section 11G asks for economic activity during your stay in the UK so I am going to present 5 years worth of bank statements.

I have online savings accounts as well so do you think that I need to include those? The 5 years worth of bank statements is to show money being paid by my employer.

I am also going to include P60s but can only find 3 out of the 5 for the period I am claiming on - would you still include those 3?

Many thanks!

Include the 3 P60s and bank statements only for the 2 missing years.
Alternatively, (if you the time) request HMRC for tax history of the 2 years that you do nt P60s for.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Hi sushdmehta: I was granted initially Hsmp (December 2007) and extended (actually switching) my visa to tier 1 (December 2009) and is valid up to december 2012. I am planning to apply sometime after 14 november. So I am applying under Tier 1 General migrant (section 3 SET O form)
SECTION 11 - DOCUMENTS after 11A which section I need to fill?
11G or 11L

Hi,

I just called the HO after seeing your post (as am in actually in the situation) and they told me that you do need to apply using 11L!

Thank you very much for posting as it ensures that I will apply using the correct information.
