Regarding Intraday balance

Post by jatinuk » Wed Sep 19, 2012 11:17 pm

Hi

IT IS LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT QUERY, PLEASE HELP

I was maintaining balance for the fund maintenance
But my intra day statement looks like following

S.No. - Date - Transaction - Credit/Debit - Balance
1. 29/08/2012 - To XYZ account - (minus)10 - 1900
2. 30/08/2012 - To my othr acc - (minus) 1200 - 700
3. 30/08/2012 - From Employer - (plus) 1000 - 1700

Actually I transferred the money(2) after I received my salary from employer (3), but with in intra day it is showing, that I transfered the 700 GBP to my other account before that ,which is causing the balance to go below 900
Seems like bank print the statement at the closing of the day

Does they check the intraday balance or the closing balance

Not sure I should I do
Urgent please help

Thanks

Does your bank statement(s) show intra-day balances or just end of day balances? If the latter, you should be okay.

To be on the safe side and to eliminate any risk:
You can use more than one bank accounts to show evidence of maintenance funds. So, use any other account (in addition to this) to compensate for this 200 pounds shortfall on a single day. You may use an account that you hold anywhere on this planet to do so.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Thanks hussainkothari, but that doesn't help too much :)

My online statement is showing like what I posted earlier

Fortunately, I just checked my paper statement today morning
they are showing something like this

S.No. - Date - Transaction - Credit/Debit - Balance
1. 29/08/2012 - To XYZ account - (minus)10 - 1900
2. 30/08/2012 - From Employer - (plus) 1000
3. 30/08/2012 - To my other acc- (minus) 1200 - 1700 ===> (1900+1000-1200 = 1700)

As the transaction happesns in the same day, my closing balance is still above 900, & I cannot see any where balance going under 900 .I think that is fine,

Please help/confirm me with some useful comment

Thanks Sudha,

Please see my earlier reply

My closing balance was above 900

If still required I will include my bank statement from my another account as well.
does the another account should have balance for three month all just for that one day (30/08/2012) is required ??

FYI I am going PEO

Like I said, if intraday balance is not shown on your statement, you should be fine. But I cannot get into a caseworker's head and tell you what is going to happen with you on the day.

Since it is clear that you have access to additional account that you can use, I would suggest that you take along 3 months's statement(s) of the other account along with you on the day of appointment. Eliminates all risks!!

or I need to mention this in the covering letter

Now you will be fine. The case worker just checks the closing balance after each transaction and they should never see a figure less than 900. You will be OK because at every point of time you had more than 900£ in your account. Good luck.
