EEA4 - Comprehensive Sickness Insurance and PhD Stipend

Good morning Everyone!

Here is my story of success!!

EEA4 application submitted on 2nd October
Received by the HO on 3rd October
CoA received around 20th October
PR card and all the rest granted on 23rd December, delivered 3rd January

2 months and 20 days only waiting time!!

So, to confirm, I posted a certificate of Aviva medical insurance which I bought in September for the first time as never heard of the requirement before, I have been paying it monthly ever since then, cost just under £30 a month with a 'Home' list of hospitals.
I also enclosed a letter from my employer explaning that the passport is needed back asap if possible because I do a lot of travelling.
Plus a cover letter from myself, bank statements, payslips, etc etc.
I only called the HO once but was told they were unable to give updates over the phone.
