MN1 Application for UK born baby while baby is abroad

Post by ajmalR » Tue Sep 25, 2012 3:19 pm

hi,

i'd be really grateful if someone could help answer my question.

i'm an ILR holder and my baby boy was born in the UK. he's currently in Mauritius for a long holiday with his mum and i wanted to know if i could apply for his citizenship using form MN1 from within the UK given the recent law change.
if so, to which address should i send the application? there are 2 addresses, 1 for applications coming from inside and one for applications coming from the outside of the UK.

thanking you in advance for your help,

kind regards

Should be possible.

Both addresses are the same (one is a PO Box. One is the actual location). It doesn't matter which one you use.
